Conditional sentences
Conditional sentences are sometimes confusing for learners of English as a second language.
Watch out:
1. Which type of conditional sentences is it?
2. Where is the if-clause (e.g. at the beginning or at the end of the conditional sentence)?
There are three types of conditional sentences.
type condition
I condition possible to fulfill
II condition in theory possible to fulfill
III condition not possible to fulfill (too late)
Conditional clause Main clause
1. If + Present Tense will + inf / present tense / imperative
If you help me with the dishes (if + pres),
I will help you with your homework. (will + inf)
If the sum of the digits of a number is divisible by three,
the number is divisible by three (Pres. tense)
If you see Mr Fox tonight, tell him I am ill. (imperative).
2. If + Past Tense would + inf
3. If + Past Perfect Tense would have + past participle
We do not normally use will or would in the conditional clause,
only in the main clause.
Example :
1. First conditional: If I have enough money, I will go to Japan.
2. Second conditional: If I had enough money, I would go to Japan.
3. Third conditional: If I had had enough money, I would have gone to Japan.

Tugas 4
MY EXPERIENCE
Years ago, precisely in the month of December, there is a friend who invited me and other friends for a vacation island. Previously I have never known holiday on the island was like. Initially there was resistance, as well as a vacation has never been that far I do not have money. But because some friends were invited immediately said yes finally I come, too. We were planning on leaving for vacation for 3 days. We departed from the station UI to the city station, from there we had to go up to the mouth Bajai angk and then had to take a boat to get to the island. island we visited was the Island of hope.
The trip on the ship is very boring, because the time to get on the island long enough. Finally we reached the first place, from the first place we went straight to the second place, we made a tent used for rest. Pawa initially we planned to snorkling. The ship owner took us to the island water because according to him tmpat great for snorkling it is there. We prepare all peralataan for snorkling. After reaching the island to go to, friends straight off the boat, to see the natural beauty of the sea. Honestly I can not swim, and I ventured off the boat. For me it was the first experience of swimming in the sea. They were all forced and brother who accompanied us were also owners of the vessel to help me down to the sea. Finally I ventured off the boat. But whatever the power, maybe because I was nervous. I can not sailed the ocean hahahaha. I'm get on board again.
I saw friends enjoying snorklingnya, while I have to fight the fear. And for the second time I venture down to the sea. Slowly, I was able menyesuakan themselves on the ground. I tried to look down. And it turns out mataa I see the natural beauty that is extraordinary, in my heart to say "thank you God for these creations". so far I only see the beauty of it in the mainland, it also provides the beauty of the sea is very beautiful. That is where I see the dazzling coral reefs and still bnyak again but I do not know his name.
Earlier I only see the beauty of the sea from the television, and now I directly witnessed the beauty of it. Lots of fish accompanied me see the beauty of the sea, and again again I give thanks. 2 hours for snorkling make us tired, hungry coupled with a very pungent sun makes us want to return to the homestay. Our homestay fatherly pulanh to rest for a while. The next day was our last day here, recent events only take pictures and feel the chill of the night to hear the occasional roar of the waves. In the morning we cleared the goods, because we have to return to Jakarta. Tep [at 12 noon we boarded a boat from the island kejakarta. Probably because all felt exhausted. Finally all asleep onboard. And we got in jakarta, we parted friends other premises in the station for the direction our home is different. Although I spent the money but the beauty of it, and I must admit that it was a most enjoyable experience.
